What do cows do for entertainment? They go to the moo-vies. Hardy, har, har.

Our "Tell a Joke Blog Hop" will have you laughing all the way through the line up. Each blogger has crafted a great project but also added a laugh. Start with Lorby's World (http://lorbysworld.blogspot.com) and I'm sure you'll be crying from laughing so hard by the time you get through out line up.

Jearise at Lorby's World has a give away so make sure you stop by and become a follower of hers and leave a comment!

For my project I couldn't help by be tickled by this week's freebie from Scrapping with Lisa Designs. It's a hippo! Aside from the obvious platypus, what animal on earth is funnier? I made a card:

Isn't he a cutie? Who can resist this guy? Not me! I am all about animal puns so my sentiment was a lot of fun! Here is the inside:

The paper is from DCWV, the sticker embellishments, including the sentiment, are from K & Company (and a gift from a dear friend).  The hippo is from Scrapping with Lisa Design's and the grass I melded from the pieces of grass in the Hide and Seek file from Scraptastical Kreations.

While I have your attention how about a hippo joke? This is a joke I found on probably at least 20 different websites: "An Indian chief had three wives, each of whom was pregnant. The first gave birth to a boy. The chief was so elated he built her a teepee made of deer hide. A few days later, the second gave birth, also to a boy. The chief was very happy. He built her a teepee made of antelope hide. The third wife gave birth a few days later, but the chief kept the details a secret. He built this one a two story teepee, made out of a hippopotamus hide. The chief then challenged the tribe to guess what had occurred. Many tried, unsuccessfully. Finally, one young brave declared that the third wife had given birth to twin boys."Correct," said the chief. "How did you figure it out?"The warrior answered, "It's elementary. The value of the squaw of the hippopotamus is equal to the sons of the squaws of the other two hides."

Thank you for stopping by and please continue merrily on to Robin's blog.

    1. I had no idea there was a hippo Christmas song. Hippos make me think of The Lion Sleeps Tonight because of the Hippo and Dog video on YouTube I used to watch with my kids! I should have put a link to that, it's hilarious.
