Here is the complete lineup:

  4. Miriam - http://miriamscreations.blogspot.com
  5. Lisa W - http://mycraftyspaces.blogspot.com/

My projects for today are a card and earrings that I have made:

I made this card as a RAK to send to my friend Kimberly Pate. I love rubber ducks, so this was a lot of fun to put together!

These earrings I made to sell. I made the cards they are hanging on using Sure Cuts A Lot. There are shapes that come with the program, so I cut the star and even the circles were on the program. I don't have a hole punch, so it worked out well. Then, I inked the edges to match the ducks. So far, I have sold the orange and yellow, the pirates, the white ones and I decided to keep the orange ones. If you want a pair for yourself, let me know!

There is going to be an overall grand prize sponsored by Lisa from Scrapping with Lisa Designs and she will be the first stop in the lineup.  In order to qualify for the grand prize, you must leave a comment on every stop in the hop. You also must become a follower of my blog, my dt blog at http://scrappingwithlisadesignsdt.blogspot.com/ and all blogs in this hop.  The grand prize for the blog hop is $20 in free files over at scrappingwithlisadesigns.com.

My project for today is a layout that I did to put some pictures of my kids in the bathtub on.

I used the rubber ducky file from Scrapping with Lisa that is available in her store along with many other great files. I used Golden Yellow DCWV paper for the ducks and the title. I do not know where the background paper is from, I have had it for years. The photo mats are from a K and Company pad. I used SCAL to cut circles and chalked one corner with the color popcorn from Colorbox to make the bubbles. For the edge of the wings and the edges of the title I used a dark yellow liquid chalk by Colorbox called butterscotch. In order to get into all the nooks and crannies of the title I put the ink onto a q-tip and used that to get in the smaller spots.

Welcome to Daddy's Little Princess today celebrating dad's everywhere. Almost every little girl has wrapped daddy around their little finger and is Daddy's Little Princess! Their first love is their dad and who they are going to marry. Today, we are giving homage to those special dad and daughter moments. I'm sure you all have your own stories of you and your dad and would love for you to share them with us as we recall our special moments whether it be as a daughter or watching your granddaughter wrapping their finger around their dad ....

We have one fabulous line-up sharing with you today and wouldn't want you to miss a single stop as we are having some blog candy for one lucky winnerl! Lynne makes these beautiful inspirational crosses on her embroidery machine that will be made for the lucky winner in the color of their choice!

  8. Anita~ http://www.anitaandbugs.blogspot.com

If you arrived from Pamela's blog then you are with the right Daddy's Princess. If not, we wouldn't want you to miss a single project and would want you to start at the ony place as there is a "once upon a time" which begins every story with Lynne at http://slasewcraftiness.blogspot.com/

My daughter is totally enamored with my husband, her daddy. If we go out to eat and she doesn't get to sit next to him she starts to cry. She misses him terribly while he is at work all day. He also is terribly in love with her and has even written a song about her. Please take a listen while looking at my project.

I didn't have any great pictures of the two of them, so I decided to play on the princess theme. She is, like most girls, in love with the idea of being a princess.

Maggie is a pink and purple girl, so I tried to incorporate those colors into the layout.  Sorry about the camera work, these pictures are not very good at all. She picked out most of the embellishments herself. The paper is from a pack I got on clearance 5 years ago. The only two piece I know for sure what it is are the tags and the crown paper piecing. The tags are from a Tag Pad by K&Company called Julianne. I will journal on them later. The paper piecing is from BeaOriginal, a new website.

This picture is from her sixth birthday party. She was definitely the princess that day!

Her daddy allowed her to buy this outfit, which I never would have let her get. It came with horrible plastic high heels that scare me every time she walks around in them.  She is super cute in the bridal (or princess) outfit, however.

Now, you've heard my story let me send you to the next chapter at Lisa's blog.

Coming Attrractions to mark your calendar for -- have you ever cheered for the villians of the Disney movies - well, here's your chance to watch just the villains on June 23rd with The Disney Villains We Love to Hate Blog Hop begining at http://slasewcraftiness.blogspot.com/

Welcome to My Dad's the Greatest Blog Hop. Today we are honoring our Dads, Grand Fathers, Uncles, and Big Brothers... Who ever made a significant, loving mark in your life? Do you remember your father being so big in your eyes, that he could protect you from anything? He was the one who would barbecue or mow the grass. He would go off to work every day and come home tired and still make time to laugh and play. He didn't mind that every Father's Day, he got a tie or slippers. He was our protector!!

Today we have some wonderful, talented women who would like to show that their Dad is the Greatest!! In case you get lost the hop starts at Pamela

We will have Blog Candy!!! It’s a fun stamp set from Tim Holtz “Life’s a Journey” to one lucky winner that leaves a comment on every blog.

If you arrived from Colleen's blog, then you are on the right track.

Today I will be sharing with you several cards I have made for 3 very important men in my life. First, my father. I remember him never wearing anything other than a button down shirt my whole life. So, I had to make him a card as a shirt. There are many different tie cards out there, but he only wore ties when we were at a serious occasion. I didn't want this to be a serious card, so I left that aspect out. However I did make many cards with the awesome tie card file from Scraptastical Kreations, you should check it out!

Here is my card:

I used a simple technique learned by watching a YouTube video on how to make a tie card. I then added buttons to make it look more like a button down and a charm in the bottom corner (see close up below, it's still not great, but more visible) which is a clock (given to me by Pamela, our lovely hostess). I added a sting of jump rings to it to make it look like a pocket watch. Then, I finished it off by adding some blue and brown twine from Trendy Twine. The paper I used was from a Recollections value pack that I purchased at Michael's.

The sentiment in the card was an svg file downloaded from the SVGCuts blog.

The next project I would like to share with you is a card that I made for my oldest brother. He was at least as much a father figure to me as my dad. He is ten years older than me and I looked up to him, even idolized him. I now call him for car advice on a regular basis as he has become an auto mechanic (if you're in Cleveland, OH look him up, he is the Mobile Mechanic of Cleveland... he'll come to you).

I got the file to cut the wrench on an interesting new site called BeaOriginal. I feel bad, but I can't find the site where the car border came from... The paper was from a friend's stash. The metal "you're the best" sentiment was from a making memories set and the stars are true vintage from the shelves of my local closeout shop called Franks Bargain Center. They are actually meant to go on fabric, but work great as brads (40 cents for 20, can't beat that!). The nut I created myself with SCAL>

Last but not least is the card I made for my husband and father of our three children. Again, I went with a shirt, but not a tie since I have only seen him wear one maybe 4 times. He wears button downs to work sometimes, but he is a t-shirt hoarder, so I decided to go with that idea.

I used an oval in SCAL to cut a neckline into paper. Then, I drew on the ribbing of the collar. He is a fan of superheros and Batman especially, so I cut an image from Batman: The Brave and the Bold (I let my six year old pick which image to use). She thought that we should cut an image of the Joker as well and let him play with them, but I needed to glue him down to cover something that had gotten on the paper.... I am considering making a "tag" to put on the back of the "shirt". I will probably make something simple like a rectangle with a heart cut out of the middle of it and stitching down the sides. Inside the cards the kids will write out their messages.

Thanks for stopping by. Now I must send you to Kristy's blog to see what fabulous project she has in store for you! Don’t forget, to qualify for the grand prize, you must leave a comment on all the blogs in the hop.
Happy Hopping!!

Stop by and check out these holidays as I am sure you are going to want to remember these holidays and include them in your card making projects!!!!!

We will have blog candy to the lucky recipient that remarks on each site along the way!

I chose to make a card for Yo-Yo day. Of course, if I make a card about Yo-Yo's I need to include some fabric yoyos. Now that Pamela (owner of the blog you came here from) sent me some pearl buttons my fabric yoyos and flowers have been greatly improved! For the actual Yo-Yo I made two circle out of paperboard and one circle out of patterned paper, which I then glued onto a paperboard circle. Then, I put a dot of hot glue on the center of the circle I didn't put the patterned paper on. I put the end of the cord in the glue, put the other circle on top, when it dried I spun it around and tied a loop on the end. If I knew how to make a slop knot I would have done that, but every time I need to make one I need to relearn. The background was inked with a stamp from the Delight in Life set from Stampin' Up using Colorbox ink and the edges of the card are distressed with distress ink from Close to My Heart. I also used distress ink on the Yo-Yo and on the yoyos to give them all an antiqued look.

On the inside I put in the sentiment I'll be there for all the Ups and Downs, cause I love puns! Since the stock I used for the background of the card was boring and this paper was awesome I used the negative image. Then, I have a ready made sentiment the next time I could use this! Don't forget to leave me some love, whether it be positive or constructive criticism. I like both!

Thanks for stopping by and mark your calendar again next month to see what Holidays to Celebrate on July 14th for the next Calendar Girls Blog Hop!
