Crazy Dog and Cupcake Hop

Welcome to our Crazy Dog and Cupcake Blog Hop!  What started out as a random idea for a blog hop turned into a funny theme!  We threw out some ideas on different "odd observances" in the up coming months ~ one being National Dog Day and the other Cupcake Day ~ everyone seemed to like these two themes so we put it to a vote!  Who would have thought it would have turned into a tie?! So we voted once more ~ thanks to Pamela's creative thinking, she put the two together.  What could be more fun than working with dogs and cupcakes!  So sit back and enjoy the fun and creative projects the group has put together for you today!

Since I don't really have anything doggish I decided to focus on the cupcake. I have a friend who LOVES cupcakes! So, this card will be for her.

 

I stamped 4 cupcakes of unknown origin and 4 of a smaller one in each corner from a set of K Andrews Stamps. They were all stamped in silver Colorbox ink and colored with Crayola (someday I'll sharpen my Prismacolor pencils....) The wording is from the same unknown set as the four inner cupcakes and says, "Cupcakes Forever!". That and the swirls, also of unknown origin are stamped in gold Colorbox ink. There are gold Stickles on the sprinkles and the swirls, and orange Stickles on the center of the flowers in the smaller stamps and on the cherry. The whole front of the card was then sprayed with glimmer mist... so shiny! Last, but not least, some chocolate cupcake Twinery twine was added to the edge!
